They are reconditioned but they come with a one year factory warranty. This is a great deal. They work great and for half the price.
All items worked flawlessly with more than enough power. I haven't used the sawsall yet but I have used the circular saw, drill and flashlight. It is definitely a heavy duty outfit and should meet the demands of any handyman. I bought a reconditioned Ridgid combo cordless tool kit, exactly like this one, locally, for $225. I am very satisfied with my purchase. If I had to say anything negative about the product it would be that it is a lot heavier than I was expecting.
The tools work fine, but they were not in as good of condition as I would of thought. They need to be a little more clear that a recondtion meant a full refurbished tool.
Still worth it. The main problem was that the battery socket on the drill was broken. The tools were undoubtely used. The drill was the worst. The rest Ok.
